I’ve turned off comments on this post.
I always say that you should really only focus on one blog at a time. But… I just started a new blog. (This is one of those do-as-I-say-not-as-I-do things.)
So the blog is called Amazopia. It’s a blog about Amazon (the company, not the river). There are lots of Apple fan blogs (5 in the Technorati Top 100, to be exact) and Google blogs, but a paucity of good information about Amazon. This needs to change.
Amazon is a freaking sweet company. It’s not as sexy as Apple and not as omnipresent as Google, but it’s a business that just makes life easier and better. In addition, the company is always innovating and coming out with great new products and services. In short, I love Amazon. Hence the blog.
On the blog I’ll cover news and tips relating to Amazon, Kindle, and everything else that is Amazon-ish.
I’d really appreciate it if you could go check it out and spread the word about it. In the sidebar of the blog are Facebook, Twitter, StumbleUpon, and Google+ buttons. Please share liberally :)

What does this mean for Blogging Bookshelf? Well, a lot. Since this is a new kind of blog for me (I’ve never had a news-type blog before) and I’ll be monetizing it in a way that I’ve never focused on before (Amazon Associates), there will be plenty for me to blog about. I’ll still post awesome content here on Blogging Bookshelf every Monday and Thursday.
I’m excited about this new adventure. Thanks in advance for being supportive.
