Last year I created nifty little WordPress plugin that all bloggers should be using. It’s free, it’s simple, and it solves a big problem. It’s also been lost in this blog’s archives for a while, so I figured it was time to highlight it again.
You know how sometimes you accidentally press the “Publish” button before a blog post is ready? It’s really annoying. And then it gets sent out to all of your RSS subscribers and you can’t delete it from your feed and it’s just a mess. My plugin solves that.
The plugin is called Publish Confirmation (click to download at WordPress.org). You just download, install, and activate it like any other plugin. The only time you’ll notice it is when you publish or update a blog post or page. Then a little window will pop up, asking you if you’re SURE you want to publish the post. It looks like this:
And that’s it!
Here’s a video showing you how it works and how to install it:

- I updated my About page.
- I activated PopUp Domination again. I know some people hate it, but bear with me for a bit.
- I want more comments on my posts :) If you comment on this post, I’ll comment on your blog. That’s something I used to do a ton and I’d like to get back into it.
